Methodology
The five Fliar BI funding datasets (global, US, UK, India, AI) are merged and de-duplicated by round; rounds before 2019 are dropped.
Amounts count only when the dataset's amount check passed. Disclosed US$ is their sum; median round their median.
Active investors = distinct investor organisations that joined at least one round. Names that look like individual people are excluded, and no investor names are shown.
Stages are grouped: Pre-seed (incl. angel), Seed (incl. pre-Series A), Series A, B, C, D+ (D–H), Growth / PE, Debt (incl. venture debt, convertible notes, bridges).
Growth is the change between the two selected years; CAGR is the compound annual rate over the gap. Places need the minimum number of rounds in both years.
Cities are as written in the source records (no metro merging), so Bengaluru, Gurugram and New Delhi are separate.
